Personal Information
I grew up in Chicago in the Mather High School area. After graduating from the Academy of the Sacred Heart I moved to Coral Gables, Florida. I graduated from the University of Miami and taught special education to special needs children in the Dade County School System for four years prior to returning to Chicago with my husband, Micky. I received my real estate license in 1983 while I continued to privately tutor elementary students and manage property in the Lincoln Park area. In 1990, my husband, our two children and I moved to Buffalo Grove. I started selling real estate full-time in 1994. My strong negotiating skills, attention to detail, and total professionalism has served over 1000 families. I enjoy assisting my clients in purchasing real estate and attaining the life style they are looking for. I am SIRVA certified and work with many executives and their familys when they are moving from out of the area into Illinois. I am usually their first friend and insist they put me on their speed dial so that I can assist them in not just purchasing their home, but assisting them in finding doctors, schools, grocery stores and anything that will make them feel more comfortable in their new community. My Family
Micky B. Cobrin (son), currently is running for and Representing Israel all over Europe in Track and Field. While living in Israel Micky was in graduate school at the University of Tel Aviv where he was working towards a doctorate in philosophy. He is currently training at The University of Arkansas where he is continuing his goal of a PhD in Phylosophy as well as hoping to represent Israel in 2012 in London. He attended Stevenson High School and was a long distance runner and ranked in the top 10 in the United States for the 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile. Spent 3 years at UCLA running for the Bruins and completed his undergraduate at the University of Arkansas where he ran the 800 and 1500.
Daughter Ali Cobrin, is currently an actress in Hollywood and under contract with Elite Model Management. She attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts in Chicago where she studied Musical Theater. She can be seen currently in the Addidas commercial featuring B.O.B and is a lead in the Showtime Series “Look” which aired 11 episodes in the fall of 2010 following the hit show Dexter. 2010 was a good year for Ali giving her a two page layout in Maxim, a guest starring role in “Friends with Benefits “and the opportunity to work with Tyler Sheilds and promote “Love Is Louder” campaign. Other commercials include AT&T, OutBack and 711.
